Google’s Guarantee Program
Want Google to Send Leads to your Business?
Google wants to send your business leads. Why? For a few reasons, mostly because the program, Google Guarantee, is a paid ad program, where your business pays for calls. The pluses for business are that the ads are at the top of the Google search results, even above the Maps listings, and the ads carry the “Google Guarantee Badge,” assuring searchers that the business is legitimate and can perform the services offered. Google will reimburse the customer if the service is below a certain level of performance (determined by Google.)
The negatives, if you can call them that, are that the businesses eligible for the program must fall into specific categories, have a viable internet presence, and since this is a premium service, pay for advertising on the Google Guarantee platform, although the added business can more than pay the ad costs and give you a healthy profit. The business must also be licensed and insured, and submit to an application process and a background check.
Unlike Google’s other ad platform, Adwords, there is no “management” involved, other than setting a bid price for placement. Google writes the copy and handles the placement and records the clicks and transfers the calls to the business.
Using the Google Guarantee program can bring quite a lot of business if a business is willing to jump through the necessary hoops to get listed. The program can also boost your reputation and prestige since your business appears at the top of Google’s search results.
Applying to the program is free, and you can set it up yourself, just follow the steps Google lays out for you. Of course, C&S Local Marketing is here to help you navigate the process, and our fee is more than reasonable considering your return on investment. Just call if you are interested in the great program.
